At the core of my campaign is a commitment to the principles of fairness, accountability, and transparency—values that Mount Vernon deserves in its leadership. These pillars guide my vision for a government that prioritizes what is right for the people, holds individuals and departments responsible for their actions, and keeps residents informed and engaged in decision-making. Together, these principles form the foundation of a better, stronger Mount Vernon.

Fairness
Every issue must be approached with an open mind, free from bias or allegiance to factions. There are no teams or sides—only the pursuit of what is right and in the best interest of the people of Mount Vernon.

Accountability
Accountability is non-negotiable. If a department is underperforming and leadership lacks the vision or initiative to drive meaningful improvement, it is imperative to seek out leaders who can inspire, motivate, and enact positive change. Mismanagement or negligence—such as allowing significant financial losses due to poor judgment—cannot be tolerated in any administration.

Transparency
Transparency is the foundation of trust between government and its people. While the city currently posts meeting minutes and records in less-accessible areas of its website, I am committed to going further. I will provide weekly reports detailing my activities, decisions, and the rationale behind my votes on key measures. This proactive communication ensures that the public remains informed and engaged in the decision-making process.
